Infiltration anesthesia in cases where a prolonged effect is required, such as for postoperative pain relief.
Long-lasting nerve block or epidural anesthesia in situations where the use of adrenaline is contraindicated and the application of strong muscle relaxants is undesirable.
Anesthesia in obstetrics.
- Can be used as a safe method of anesthesia for pregnant women.
Important recommendations:
- longocain should only be administered by physicians experienced in regional anesthesia or under their supervision;
- the lowest effective dose should be used to achieve adequate anesthesia.
